Sunday's Words for the Week

 

 

Burnt  offerings.

Burned to a crisp.

Burned beyond recognition.

Burned alive.

Burned out.

 

I ran across these words as I was rereading Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach.

We are just passed the halfway point in our school year and many teachers have let their candle burn at both ends for far  too long.  I know I have.

We must be careful for as the saying goes...it will not last the night.

 

In an effort to keep my offerings from getting charred, I've put a new ban on working on Sundays.

 Sacred Sunday...a day to recharge, renew, reclaim my soul.
